Come volunteer with us to help protect one of Australia’s most unique species – the illusive platypus! Every fortnight you’ll head out to waterways in your area to record sightings and signs of platypus.
Each survey only takes around 20 minutes and the information you collect will help build a stronger dataset on local platypus populations—essential for understanding their numbers and ensuring they are afforded an accurate conservation status in Queensland.
No experience needed—just a keen eye and a love for the outdoors. Come be part of the team and discover the hidden world of platypus right in our backyard!
