Linking Land for Koalas – Community Tree Planting Day
Let’s create safe habitat for our koalas!
As part of our Linking Land for Koalas project, we are holding a Community Tree Planting event in Caboolture on Saturday 26th September. We will be planting 600 trees to connect two areas of existing habitat for koalas, to help them move safely across the landscape.
This event is the first of a series of community tree planting and weeding events that will be delivered over the next two years to regenerate habitat for koalas in the area.
A light morning tea will be provided following the planting.
Where/When:
Saturday 26th September 2026 – Upper Caboolture
Please be there at 8:30am for a 9:00am start
We will finish up at about 1:00pm
The exact meeting point will be emailed to participants prior to the event.
What to Wear/Bring:
- Sun safe clothing and hat
- Sturdy, closed toe footwear
- Water bottle
- Gloves if you have them
Please note – all children 18 years and under must accompanied by a parent/caregiver
