Meet The Team

Sandy

After working as a Medical Scientist in Brisbane for many years, a career and lifestyle change saw Sandy moving to the Sunshine Coast and completing a Master of Environmental Education. She has now been working for ECOllaboration (previously Maroochy Waterwatch) for over 20 years. During this time she’s had a number of roles, including coordinating the Paynter Creek Catchment Care & rehabilitation project; project managing an endangered frog project; liaising with Main Roads to have catchment signs placed along roads to demarcate a range of catchment boundaries in the region; fund raising and business development; coordination of the Sunshine Coast Qld Environmentally Sustainable Schools Initiative Hub; undertaking a Steward’s of the Future research project for Council and managing the development and running of our Eco Education Service for the last 8 years. Sandy and her husband have been restoring the riparian area of the creek near where they live for the last 20 years.
