ECOllaboration has been running Conservation and Ecosystem Management (CAEM) traineeships in partnership with the Queensland Government since 2015. This program is a fantastic experience for the participants. Not only are they exposed to working in the natural environment (often for the first time), they complete a VET qualification as well as complimentary qualifications in Agricultural Chemicals Distribution Control (ACDC), Construction White Card and Chainsaw level I.
During the 2021-2022 financial year we had 22 Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management trainees and 4 Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management trainees. Our Certificate I cohorts achieved 100% completion rates and 91% employment and further training rates.
