Little Scientists
January 17 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
$20
Step into the role of an environmental scientist with Education Officer Nick as we uncover the secrets of our waterways.
Children will collect and study macro invertebrates – tiny creatures that tell big stories about ecosystem health, from two different aquatic habitats. They will then discover how ECOllaboration uses water-testing equipment to monitor the environment. We’ll compare results, learn what they mean for water health, and finish with a LEGO challenge.
This workshop is aimed at children 5-10 years old with an interest in bugs and the environment.
Please note that children will need to be supervised at all times as this is not a drop off session.
