Additional Works

In addition to major projects, we have continued to deliver a range of diverse projects to existing clients. We completed an annual weed survey for Gympie Council across sites effected by the C2C road upgrades. This involved several days in the field collecting data followed by data analysis and reporting.

After the regions flooding in late 2021, Sunshine Coast Council engaged Catchment Services to collect data from there Maximum Height Gauges (MHG’s) across the catchment. This involved several teams travelling to over 250 sites to collecting data. This was a time sensitive project as the gauges must be check before the water evaporates! Once completed, the data was submitted and SCC then granted us the annual maintenance of the MHG’s which was completed over September and October.

Our contract with SSC to removal seagrass from Lake Magellan was also renewed and has continued every few weeks. The Waterways and Catchment Management department that awarded us the Lake Magellan contract has also given us several smaller project throughout the year, including removing damaged sediment control from Lake Currimundi and litter removal from other water bodies with the Maroochy catchment.
